What's New | MAC Warm Neutral Palette, MAC Brush Cleanser, MAC 217/239 Brushes and KIKO Mat Base Primer

19:00

I don't buy makeup as much as I used to but occasionally I do like to have a little splurge. These are the beauty products that I've purchased recently and I thought 'why not blog about them?'.

MAC Warm Neutral Palette
After years of perfecting my makeup base (foundation, highlighting/contouring, etc.) to my liking, those who have been following my blog would know that I've never really indulged in the whole eyeshadow thing. Simply because it just looks complicated lol. What kind of beauty blogger/makeup enthusiast doesn't own at least one eyeshadow palette? I know I've said numerous times that I want to practice eyeshadow application and didn't really make much of an attempt but buying a palette is the only way I'm going to motivate myself to get practicing. There were so many palettes out there to choose from but I knew I wanted a good quality palette to start off with. After deliberating, I ended up going for the MAC Warm Neutral Palette because I knew the quality of MAC eyeshadows wouldn't fail. I really like the shades in this palette as you all know how I like to keep things simple with nude/neutral tones. The palette consists of 15 warm neutral shades.

MAC 217 Blending Brush and MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush
It didn't make any sense buying an eyeshadow palette without brushes to apply the eyeshadow with. To start off with, I purchased both the blending brush and eye shader brush. I believe these should be OK to begin with and I guess as time goes on, I'll add more eyeshadow brushes to the collection.

MAC Brush Cleanser
This is a repurchase. I had stopped using it for a while (not sure why), then after using the tiny bit I had left at home, I realised that I actually need this lol. It's quite an effective product and makes cleaning your brushes easier.

KIKO Mat Base Corrector Primer
My usual primer (Black Radiance Shine Control Primer) ran out and I just didn't feel like repurchasing it, especially as you can only buy it as a 3-pack from Amazon. I noticed quite a few people have been talking about how good this KIKO primer is and KIKO products in general. This is the first product I've ever bought from them and I will let you know now before I write up a full review that this primer is amazing!

Price: £8.90
